TESTIMONIES Do you have a testimony of healing received from the Healing Rooms of Valparaiso? I injured my knee and leg in 1998. I have had numerous surgeries that left my lower leg in a degenerative situation. I have lost muscle and nerves that the doctors said would not return. My main surgeon suggested in 98/99 that I would have a good 10 years before I would be in a brace situation but I was pleased at that time that I would walk in 1999! During the last year or two my situation became worse, if I attempted to walk over a mile my knee would bruise, I could not walk on loose or uneven ground with out loosing my balance if I was not very careful. I could not walk up stairs with out much effort and pain, and walking down them made every muscle in my lower leg quiver. I had given up on many activities until I received what I felt was a blessing; I was fitted with custom leg brace that held me steady. I began walking some stairs, and my limp almost went away. I believed this was the way God healed me, with a brace! Well my friends, my wife and I went to the healing room in Valparaiso Saturday December 8, 2007; I had them pray for my knee as well as a personal need I had. Sunday morning when I woke up, the pressure and tingling in my lower leg was almost gone, my knee was not stiff, and I had no pain. Being without pain was something that I couldn’t even remember. I actually had no pain or discomfort! As I stood up without the brace, while getting out of bed, I realized that I had been healed. I went to Church Sunday, afraid to say anything to anyone, even my wife. I did not wear my brace and I even went up and down the stairs at home almost normal for the first time in almost 10 years! I am completely healed; my knee is working, as it never has in over 9 years! Praise God, He Is The Same TODAY! He heals the same today, I am living proof, believe in God, ask and believe! Pray for your needs and BELIEVE, no matter how small or how large they may be. Willis D Dickens In February 2005, I was diagnosed with a Stage IV cancer of the lungs. The cancer has already involved the opposite lungs, the lining of my heart, the liver and my pelvic bone. I went to Chemotherapy, but was unable to withstand the side effects of the treatment, and it had to be discontinued. At around this time, a very close friend introduced me to the Healing Room in Valparaiso and persuaded me to come and experience it. My husband was very supportive and drove me there and even had healing prayers for him to help him with his hypertension and diabetes. Every Saturday that my husband was off, he took me to the healing room. What a wonderful feeling it was to know that a group of your fellow Christians are praying and asking the Lord to heal you. It seems so peaceful, so stress free, so invigorating – and slowly I can feel my strength coming back. I can feel that God is in there laying his miraculous touch upon me through the people praying for my healing. I can’t wait to have my next prayer session and was always looking forward to it. It has really tested my trust and faith in the Almighty. In Mark 9:23, Jesus said: “There is nothing impossible for the person who believes.” And I do strongly and unquestionably believe that He will heal me and will pull me through all this. The Healing Room and the dedicated Christians praying for me have indeed changed my life. I was supposed to be gone within six months, but now it has been two years since my diagnosis and I feel as physically healthy and fit as anybody else. My latest diagnostic tests showed complete remission of my disease and I am symptom free, that I can even do what I love to do most – and that is to do Ballroom Dancing. I greatly thank the Lord for allowing me to meet His helpers on earth and thru them I can really appreciate His awesome power and His eternal glory. To the devoted Christians of the Healing Room, I thank you too for the time, the perseverance, the patience and the dedication you all have shared and given at the time when I needed it most. Again, thank you, thank you, and thank you. May God’s blessings be always upon all of you. After suffering from various auto-immune diseases including lupus for 13 years, I came to the Healing Room. With one prayer, I was totally healed! For the past year and a half, I have lived a pain-free and disease-free life. Thank you Jesus! I had severe pain in my left shoulder for several months. I'm assuming it's all gone! Anita Z. On 2-16-02 I came to the Healing Room for the first time. I was too tired & weak to come alone so my friend came with. I had been diagnosed with Lupus and had pain all over. My hip was really painful & I developed a limp. I didn't know what to expect. I had faith God would help me - either through healing, peace, or medicine. Jesus healed me that day after praying with the "saints" at the Vineyard. I left feeling no pain & a new energy! I praise God for answering my prayer, and I thank God for leading me to the "Vineyard" where there is such an anointing in healing. Martha G I was diagnosed Type II Diabetes. One symptom is numbness in my feet. I have been to the healing rooms for five weeks. Feeling and warmth have returned to my toes and heels. I am believing the Word that says I am healed. With support of my brothers and sisters in the healing rooms I am holding on to what Christ won for us at the whipping post and at the cross. "By His stripes I am healed!" Ernest B When I got here I was very depressed & full of fear due to inteferon treatments. Also I had severe confusion & pressure in my mind. Laura R. I got sick with the flu & bronchitis the week before Thanksgiving. No matter what I did, I couldn't get better. It turned into a sinus infection and then back to the flu. I went to the doctor and got medicine, but when the medicine was gone, I was still sick. A few people had prayed for me during this time, but no better. I went to the healing rooms on a Friday night in January. The next day I was completely better. I had used about 4 boxes of Kleenex, while I was sick, & I don't think I've blown my nose since. This stuff (prayer & faith) is working! Kris D. I was having chest pain, so I went to the VA clinic in Crown Point, Indiana. There I was examined and taken by ambulance to the VA hospital West Side, in Chicago. After numerous tests I was told I had in the recent past had a heart attack, and the bottom part of my heart was dead. I thought immediately "who's report am I going to believe", the doctor's or the Lord's. It was Labor Day weekend therefore the doctors were out of town for the holiday and nothing could be done until Tuesday, the day after the holiday. I therefore asked if I might be released to go home until I could be scheduled for my treatment. The doctors agreed to allow me to home to await my treatment. This was on a Friday afternoon that I was release from the hospital. Saturday I came to the "Healing Rooms" to work and during that time I asked the team to pray for a new heart. The team responded with vigor and then I returned to the hospital for the final test before the repair, the doctor was dumbfounded because he said "your heart is perfect" and "I wish my heart looked as good as yours when I was aged 50". My follow up blood pressure was a perfect 120 over 80. Previously I had a slightly elevated blood pressure, but now it was perfect. Jerry H. Our son-in-law Brent has been being treated for Hodgkinıs disease for nearly a year. At the same time as he was preparing to enter U of M Hospital for a very intensive six-days-in-a-row of chemo treatments, we were preparing to go to a healing conference and then go directly to visit/pray for him in the hospital. As all these plans were coming together, I sensed an urging from God to consider taking a cloth or an article of clothing (see Acts 19:11-12) to the conference, get it prayed over, and then take it to Brent. Immediately after God gave me this thought, He reminded me of the Jesus hat (a baseball cap with a Pepsi logo on it but the word Jesus where the word Pepsi would usually be) that Brent had given me 12 or 13 years ago for Fatherıs Day. It seemed like the perfect thing to take to the conference. We arrived at the conference on Friday evening just as worship was beginning. At the end of worship, the conference leader said he wanted us all to hear a song from a CD that he felt was very anointed and well worth our consideration. He also said that after we listened to it, he was going to give it to one of us. As we listened to it, it inspired me to want to worship more. I sensed God encouraging me to go ahead and if I would worship with my hand(s) raised to Him, He would make sure I got the CD! I closed my eyes (so I would not be distracted by others who were or were not worshiping God that way) and worshiped the Lord with my hand(s) raised to Him as the CD played. At the end of the song, the conference leader pointed me out from among 200 to 300 others, and then threw the CD to me like a Frisbee! Saturday evening I took the Jesus hat. About halfway through a one-and-a-half hour worship service, I sensed God challenging me that if I would keep the hat raised to Him in worship, He would place healing anointing on it for Brent. As I worshiped that way, gently waiving my hand with the hat on it back and forth, shifting hands as my arm got tired, it seemed like I was wiping up or mopping up the healing anointing God had for Brent. At the end of the worship time the conference leader began to ask people with specific sicknesses and diseases to raise their hands so that others near them could pray for them. I noticed the main conference speaker then also come down into the audience and begin to pray for these individuals. I again sensed God challenging me to ask this person to pray over the hat, which he did. At the end of the evening, our friends, who had invited us to the conference (and did not see me get the main speaker to pray over the hat), also suggested we that get the main speaker to pray over the hat - more confirmation of Godıs assurance that I was hearing from Him. We needed to leave early Sunday morning (Fatherıs Day - interestingly!) to get to the hospital at a decent time. Earlier I had told the people we were staying with the story about the hat. Before we left, the man of the house gave me a copy of the meditation of the day from a devotional booklet called "Our Daily Bread." The title of the Fatherıs Day reading was "Dadıs Hat," the story of an Olympic swimmer whose father did of massive heart attack in the stands as the athletes marched into the arena for the opening ceremonies of the 1992 Olympics. Five days later, the swimmer arrived at his event wearing his fatherıs hat, the hat he wore fishing, to town, around his buddies - everyone knew how special the hat was to the swimmerıs father. The swimmer chose to honor his father by wearing the hat to the event for all to see. The fact that our new friend found this article and shared it with us is yet more indication of the extent to which God goes to communicate His care, love and provision to us. Later that day, as I related this story to Brent in the hospital he said, "Give me the hat!" So many "Godincidences" (a coincidence orchestrated by God) and God-inspired understanding/directions in this ongoing real-life story help me more and more know that God wants to speak to us and have an ongoing, viable, wonderful, friendship with us if we just turn or hearts to Him. A month later, as I write this, Brent is out of the hospital and doing very well, PTL! He has to be very careful over the next several months as God rebuilds his immune system. We solicit your prayers, asking God to complete the rest of the miracle, enabling Brent to complete "that" (Philippians 3:12) which God has planned for him. August 15, 2005 Addendum: Many of you got to read this testimony earlier when we were believing God for Brentıs healing and know God was serious about it by setting up all these "Godincidences" to bring glory to Himself. Now we can report, whether you heard the Jesus Hat story before or not, that Brentıs latest PET Scan shows that he is free of cancer!!! We are rejoicing and completely blessed at the Power of God at work in our midst PTL!!! Thanks to the hundreds of people who partnered with God in praying this MIRACLE HEALING into reality!!! May God show Himself strong in our lives, giving us more and more opportunities to see Him glorified and report to others of the wonderful exploits of our Awesome God!!! Durrell B.
